Crisis media training, interview skills, presenting to camera
Media training South
Our media training courses are about 'doing' rather than watching endless PowerPoint slides. We're journalists ourselves so we know what they want and how they work.
You'll be put through your paces, grilled on camera, quoted out of context or even mis-tweeted! That's the point. With our feedback you'll be equipped to deal with the toughest hack and ensure that you get your message across in YOUR way on TV, on the radio, in the papers and online! What's more you'll even enjoy the experience!
Courses include:
Crisis communications, dealing with bad publicity
Generating positive publicity
Writing effective press releases, posts and tweets
Presenting on camera and interviews
Digital communications
Our lead media trainer Adam Kirtley has 30 years broadcast journalism experience, being a regular voice on BBC Radios 4 and 5 live. He's coached top executives heading up big corporates in the UK and around the world. He's worked with NHS trusts, local authorities, financial institutions and charities. He's entertaining, informative and great at building confidence.
We will tailor the course to your requirements. If you have a specific training need or issue we can create a course that fits, using scenarios and exercises that are relevant to your organisation.
We like to work in small groups of no more than 8 or 10 to ensure there is plenty of time for the practical exercises and feedback.
We can either run the course at your place of work or book a mutually convenient venue.
Whether you need help with crisis media management, help to put across your positive message or practical advice on how to speak to the media email us find out how we can help.
